Dear Backers,
We hope that your summer have been great so far and that all of you are able to find the time to recharge! (if you're not on vacation just yet - try doing nothing for at least 10 minutes a day :))
And now, SOME IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
We are happy to announce that we have transferred all Backer pledges to BackerKit (a pledge management tool that makes fulfilment as smooth as possible both for us and for you!)
As we know that we have numerous backers who have not used Kickstarter or BackerKit before, we’ve included a thorough set of instructions and a FAQ section below (if you still have any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch!)
How do I get my Backer Survey invitation?
You will receive an email from BackerKit during the next couple of days with a link to your account that includes all your Backer information in it. Due to the large number of Backers, it will take a few days for ALL the emails to go out. Please be patient. Also, don’t forget to check your junk mail folder :)
When receiving your BackerKit survey, please fill it out as soon as you can :)
If you do not receive your BackerKit email by June 29, please go to this link and enter the E-mail address connected to your Kickstarter account and click on the "Get My Survey" button. By doing so, you will be sent a new email with a link to your BackerKit account. If you use your Facebook login for your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey will be sent to the E-mail address you use for your Facebook account.
If you need to review your information or pledge status, you will be able to recover your survey here: pause-pod.backerkit.com
If you have another E-mail address that you would prefer to use, please contact BackerKit support at pause-pod.backerkit.com/faq and they'll get you sorted out.
Do I need to fill out the survey through BackerKit?
Yes, please! All Backers must go to their BackerKit account and fill in their shipping information, choose the Pause Pod add-ons of your choice and if you feel like it, add more items to your order :).
It's not needed, but we'd recommend you to create a BackerKit login and password so that you can easily return to your account later on (in case you'd for example like to add an item to your order or update your shipping adress... this can also be done by entering your e-mail using this link)
What about the Pause Pod Add-Ons?
If you've chosen a pledge level where one or more Pause Pod add-ons are included you'll simply go to your survey, follow the steps and choose the Add-ons of your choice (Mini Pause, Pod Cinema, Star sky).
All of our backers will also be offered to add additional add-ons (or even an additional Pause Pod to their order at a special discount :))
Can I Upgrade My Pledge Level or Purchase Add-Ons?
Yes, you can upgrade your pledge level and purchase Add-Ons from BackerKit. If you upgrade or purchase Add-Ons, you will need to input payment information in BackerKit - but your card won't be charged until we “lock" the surveys (in August).
BackerKit Survey Deadline
We will “Lockdown” all BackerKit accounts in the end of August. When we hit the button to lockdown accounts you will no longer be able to change your pledge level or purchase additional add-ons (don't worry, we will send out a couple of reminders!).
So, to try to sum it all up with a little FAQ:
1. I didn’t get my BackerKit email invite. What do I do?
The easiest thing to do is resend the invite to yourself! Just go here: https://pause-pod.backerkit.com, enter your Kickstarter E-mail address (Facebook E-mail if your KS account is connected to Facebook), and click on the "Get My Survey" button. You will then be sent a new email with a link to your account.
2. I forgot my BackerKit password. How do I get it?
Just go here: https://pause-pod.backerkit.com, enter your Kickstarter E-mail address, and click on the "Get My Survey" button. You will be sent a new email with a link to your account.
3. I want to sign back into https://pause-pod.backerkit.com, but I don’t remember the email I used for my account. How do I get it?
It should be your Kickstarter account email. If that doesn’t work, please email [email protected] and they will help you.
4. I have a question about BackerKit that isn’t covered here. What do I do?
Head over to https://www.pause-pod.backerkit.com/faq or email the team directly at [email protected]. They’re happy to help! We're of course also available at [email protected]
5. Why use BackerKit?
The BackerKit people are experts in streamlining the process of delivering crowd-funded rewards. Using their service allows our us to maintain our focus on making the best possible product to be delivered as soon as possible :)
